The event will take place, rain or shine, on Saturday, May 14 from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. Participating residents will have balloons on their mailboxes. Items for sale will include glassware, bowls, home decor, dining ware, lamps, framed art, tools, clothing and more. All items will be "priced to go." FCS Pension Board to Meet May 11

The Pension Board of the Fulton County Schools Employees’ Pension Fund will meet on May 11. The board meets quarterly to discuss issues and act on items requiring approval.   The meeting will be held at 2 p.m. at the Fulton County School District’s South Learning Center, located at 4025 Flat Shoals Road in Union City, Ga.  The agenda is posted online. Meetings can be watched live on FCSTV Comcast Channel 24 or from a computer by visiting www.fultonschools.org/fcstv. Children’s Book Festival Set for May 14

A new Children's Book Festival is coming to the metro area thanks to the Fulton County Library System, Atlanta-Fulton Public Library Foundation and presenting sponsor PNC Bank.
