City Personnel Honored during Public Service Recognition Week

During Public Service Recognition Week, May 5-11, Point University honored members of the City of South Fulton’s staff for their influence and work in the community. Honorees were: Odie Donald, city manager; Melanie Winfield, assistant city manager; S. Diane White, city clerk; Keith Meadows, chief of police; and Jack Butler, interim fire chief.

They were recognized on May 10 during the city’s employee appreciation picnic at the South Fulton Tennis Center. Certificates were presented by Dr. Kristie Roberts-Lewis, professor of public administration and MPA program coordinator.

Public Service Recognition Week has been celebrated annually since 1985. The initiative honors the men and women who serve as federal, state, county and local government employees.
