Join the Georgia Legislative Black Caucus on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at 6 PM ET for a Virtual Town Hall on the maternal mortality crisis.

Nationally, Black women are three times more likely to die from pregnancy-related causes than White women. In Georgia, Black women are 3.3 times more likely to die from pregnancy-related complications, the highest ratio in the country.

During this panel discussion listen to leading medical professionals, academia, and community advocates address the maternal health crisis by offering sound medical advice and recommendations which can collectively save lives and our families.

The Georgia Legislative Black Caucus (GLBC) represents 68 members who serve in the Georgia General Assembly.
