South Fulton to Host Community Clean-up Day on Nov. 16

South Fulton residents will have a chance to dispose of their bulky waste and shred documents for free during the city’s 2019 Fall Clean-up Day on November 16 from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Drop-off locations include Merk Miles Transfer Station (3225 Merk Road), South Fulton Service Center (5601 Stonewall Tell Road) and Creel Park (2775 Creel Road). Document shredding and household chemical disposal will only be available at the transfer station.

Acceptable bulky trash items include adhesives, aerosols, cardboard, cleaners and swimming pool chemicals, fluorescent light bulbs, furniture, hobby and art supplies, paints and paint-related products, photo chemicals and tires.

No commercial vehicles, construction waste, demolition debris or yard waste will be accepted.

Curbside pickup is available for seniors. They can register by calling South Fulton’s Department of Public Works at 470-552-4311 by November 8.
