Gallery: South Fulton Rings in the Holiday Season

Old National Market Place celebrated the start of the holiday season with its first inaugural tree lighting event. South Fulton families didn’t let the rain dampen their spirits. Attendees of all ages enjoyed a trackless train, face painting, giveaways and meeting members of the South Fulton Fire Rescue Department and South Fulton Police Department.

Local youth led the countdown to the lighting of the tree. Those present to help celebrate the moment included Fulton County Commissioner Joe Carn, Fire Chief Freddie Broome, Captain Hattie Cotton-Tukes and South Fulton Chamber of Commerce Vice President of Member Services Merlin Knight.

Maureen Denard, VP Director of Marketing of The Inland Real Estate Group, Inc. hosted the event. Vendors included the Atlanta Dream and Benchmark Physical Therapy.

Old National Market Place, located at 6385 Old National Highway, is anchored by LA Fitness, Burlington and Marshalls, along with other national and regional tenants.
