City Council to Hear Four Zoning Cases on Jan. 11

The City of South Fulton will hold zoning public hearings on Jan. 11 at 6 p.m. Four cases will be heard impacting districts one, two and four. The cases scheduled to be heard by the city council include: Case Z21-016The applicant is requesting a rezone from AG-1 to CUP for 36 single family homes at 0 West Stubbs Rd. and 3315 West Stubbs Rd. in District 2. The case was heard by the Planning Commission on Dec. 15 and was approved with conditions. The city council will hear the case on Jan. 11 and vote on it on Jan. 25. CZIM Planned for Sept. 12

The city of South Fulton's Community Development and Regulatory Affairs department will hold a community zoning information meeting at City Hall (5440 Fulton Industrial Blvd.) on September 12 at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will give members of the community an opportunity to ask questions or express concerns about the request to rezone property at 3560 Jonesboro Road from AG-1, agricultural, to C-2, community business district.

The City of South Fulton is updating its zoning ordinance. Citizens are invited to participate in upcoming workshops to learn more about the process and provide input. Workshops will be held on June 13 (Cedar Grove Community Bldg.), June 17 (Welcome All Park), June 18 (South Fulton Service Center) and June 27 (Burdett Recreation Center Gym). Input is also being solicited via a zoning ordinance survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/CoSF_ZoningOrdinance. Feedback can also be submitted to [email protected].
