Cascade United Methodist Church is hosting a screening of the film In Our Right Mind: Alzheimer’s and Other Dementia’s Impact in Communities of Color. The event is presented by The Emory Goizueta Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center.

This documentary was written, produced and directed by journalist and lawyer Renee Chenault Fattah. Weaving together the stories of caregivers, people living with the disease, and researchers, Chenault Fattah explores why Alzheimer’s and other dementias disproportionately impact communities of color, what we can do to reduce the risk and why early diagnosis is key.
