Newly-elected Councilwoman Keosha B. Bell (D-5) will host “Let’s Talk” on Feb. 20 at 5 p.m. The event, advertised as a meet and greet, will be held at the Burdett Park (2945 Burdett Road) in the multipurpose room.
The event will give District 5 residents an opportunity to meet their new representative. City personnel from Public Safety, Public Works and Code Enforcement will also be in attendance to share updates and answer questions.
Councilwoman Bell is a native of Athens, Ga. She attended Middle Georgia College and Clayton State University College where she studied business management, marketing and computer information technology. She has been an entrepreneur for more than two decades and is the owner of Simple Pleasure Events, LLC and White Glove Experience Booking & Talent Services.
Councilwoman Bell was sworn into office on Jan. 6 after winning a runoff election against former Councilman Corey Reeves.
“Let’s Talk” is free and open to the public. Residents who cannot attend the event in person will have an opportunity to attend virtually.
