South Fulton Public Meetings, Location and Date Changes Announced

The City of South Fulton has announced a series of public meetings, as well as location and date changes.

The next CZIM (Community Zoning Information Meeting) will take place today, Feb. 6, 2020 at 6 p.m. The meeting will be held at a new location, the  South Fulton Arts Center, 4645 Butner Road. The purpose of this informal meeting is provide opportunity for the community to ask questions and/or express concerns to the applicant.  

The application, M20-001 (Madhouse Sports Bar & Grill, 5280 Old National Hwy.), is a request to modify condition 1.a (Z83-94 SFC), to increase the allowable maximum square footage from 2,400 square feet to 3,390 square feet to allow for an 990 square foot outdoor patio space.

The South Fulton Development Authority will hold a special called meeting today, Feb. 6 at 6 p.m. in the Burdett Park Multipurpose Room, 2945 Burdett Road. The meeting agenda includes public comment and a supplemental training and vision retreat.

The next Board of Ethics meeting will take place on Monday, Feb. 10 at 6 p.m. at City Hall, 5440 Fulton Industrial Blvd. The board will hear two complaints: #2020-01, Patricia Wise vs. Councilmember Khalid Kamau and #2020-02, Patricia Wise vs. Councilmember Naeema Gilyard.

The Mayor and City Council’s next work session and regular meeting will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 11 at 5 p.m.and 7 p.m. respectively. Meetings are now held at the South Fulton Arts Center, 4645 Butner Road. Additional parking is available at Cliftondale Park.

The Mar. 10 and 24 work sessions and regular meetings of the Mayor and City Council have been rescheduled. The new dates will be Tuesdays, Mar. 17 and Mar. 31. The work session and regular meetings will be held at 5 p.m.and 7 p.m. respectively at the South Fulton Arts Center.
