Langston Hughes High’s Tenga Places 3rd in Congressional Art Competition
Langston Hughes High School's David Tenga has placed third in Congressman David Scott's 17th Annual Congressional Art Competiton. Tenga's submission entitled "A Bit of Me" earned him a $3500 scholarship from The Art Institute of Atlanta, a $650 summer seminar scholarship from The Savannah College of Art and Design and a $400 scholarship from sponsors AT&T and Georgia Power.
Additionally, Tenga's work will hang in the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport’s Youth Art Gallery for one year.
