Tea Bar Offers Tips for Heart Health in Upcoming Free Workshop

Heart health is on the menu this month at Fresh from Earth Herb and Tea Bar. In addition to the regularly-sold tonics that the store is known for, the Camp Creek location will host a free seminar on “Heart Health & Symptoms of High Blood Pressure” on Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 7 p.m.

The store’s expert herbalist will share how diet, stress and environmental toxins can result in heart dysfunction, plus ways to protect and improve circulatory health. According to Fulton County government officials, heart disease accounts for 1,300 deaths annually among local residents.

Fresh from Earth’s Carlos Hefeez says the store’s staff wants their patrons to be educated and empowered. “We’re sharing how to improve your everyday health by simply improving the health of one major organ,” he said.

Customers regularly visit the herb and tea bar for tonics to help with high blood pressure. According to Hefeez, their bestseller is Pressure, a proprietary tea blend made with hawthorn berry and ginko. He also recommends Fresh Start made with moringa, spirulina, ginger and alkaline water. And if you’re searching for something for overall health, he says you can’t go wrong with black seed oil.

Fresh from Earth has an expansive inventory with over 140 international loose leaf teas. Customers can pick up a custom blend to enjoy at home, or have a seat in the bar to enjoy a cup or pot at their leisure, along with the free wifi.

On tap and ready to pour are a variety of tonics that are advertised to address any health issue imaginable, from bloating and headaches to high blood sugar. Hemp bombs and hemp shots are perfect for customers in need of the ultimate chill pill. Plus, traditional blends like jasmine and chai, coffee and a variety of juices are also available.

Fresh from Earth Herb & Tea Bar is located in the Shops at Camp Creek Village at 3220 Butner Road, Suite 220 in South Fulton.
