The Divine Nine 5K returns to Welcome All Park on June 8. Now in its fourth year, the annual race attracts hundreds of participants to raise funds for college scholarships and community programs.
Participants are welcome to run, jog or walk. For those up to the challenge, event organizers have added a 9K course.
The Divine Nine 5K is organized by the National Pan-Hellenic Council of Greater Atlanta (NPHC Atlanta), a non-profit that serves as a local chapter of the National Pan-Hellenic Council, a collaborative organization of the nine historic Black Greek Lettered fraternities and sororities. It is a graduate council and has representatives from more than 20 chapters in the metropolitan Atlanta area.
Registration for the Divine Nine 5K is $35 and includes a t-shirt, chip timing, snacks, goodie bag and race medal to all finishers. More information is available at www.divinenine5k.com.
