School Board to Meet January 11 at North Learning Center

School board members are scheduled to meet later today at the Fulton County School District’s North Learning Center, at 450 Northridge Parkway in Sandy Springs.

The board will first meet at 12:30 p.m. for executive session immediately followed by a pre-work session at approximately 2:00 p.m. Work session presentations will begin at approximately 3:00 p.m. Should the work sessions conclude early, the board may move to immediately begin discussion of the topics slated for the Thursday, January 20, board agenda. At 6 p.m., the board will conduct its monthly recognition of outstanding student and staff accomplishments followed by the public comment session.

All topics up for approval are posted on BoardDocs. Among the agenda items include a Superintendent’s report, COVID-19 management report and a vote on the renewal petitions for Chattahoochee Hills Charter School and Hapeville Charter Career Academy.

All meetings of the School Board are open to the public unless designated as executive session, where the Board convenes in private to discuss land, legal, or personnel items. Social distancing will be practiced at all meetings and hearings, and therefore space for attendees may be reduced.

Public Board meetings can be watched live via television at FCSTV Comcast Channel 24, AT&T Ch. 99, and Google Fiber TV Ch. 145. Public board meetings will also be streamed live on the FCSTV Communications website, which can be viewed using at www.fultonschools.org/fcstv.

Video recordings of the meeting are archived to the Fulton County School District website within 48 hours of the meeting, and can be viewed on-demand at https://www.fultonschools.org/boardvideos.
