Fulton County School Board Community Meetings Resume This Week

Members of the Fulton County Board of Education sponsor a monthly meeting open to all members of the community. The sessions provide an opportunity for direct contact with community members and give board members a chance to listen to local issues and concerns. Area principals and Fulton County Schools representatives are often also in attendance to share important news and updates. The first round of meetings of the new school year kickoff this week. Public Notice: School Board to Meet Aug. 11 at North Learning Center

The Fulton County Board of Education will meet Thursday, Aug. 11 at Fulton County Schools' North Learning Center, at 450 Northridge Parkway in Sandy Springs. The School Board will first meet for the second millage hearing at 11 a.m. immediately followed by executive session at approximately 11:30 a.m. Pre-work session will begin at approximately 1 p.m. with work session presentations immediately following at approximately 2:30 p.m. Should the work sessions conclude early, the board may move immediately to begin discussion of the topics slated for the Thursday, August 18 board agenda. School Board to Meet September 19 at the South Learning Center

The Fulton County Board of Education will meet tomorrow, September 19, at the district’s South Learning Center, located at 4025 Flat Shoals Road in Union City. The meeting will convene at 1 p.m. for the audit committee, followed by executive session at 2:30 p.m. A pre-work session will begin at 4:00 p.m. p.m. immediately followed by an additional executive session. Public comment will begin at 6:00 p.m., and the action meeting will begin afterwards.
