The Fulton County Board of Education will meet tomorrow, September 19, at the district’s South Learning Center, located at 4025 Flat Shoals Road in Union City. The meeting will convene at 1 p.m. for the audit committee, followed by executive session at 2:30 p.m. A pre-work session will begin at 4:00 p.m. p.m. immediately followed by an additional executive session. Public comment will begin at 6:00 p.m., and the action meeting will begin afterwards. Fulton County School Board President Linda Bryant will hold a joint community meeting with District 6 Board Member Kimberly Dove on September 16 at Camp Creek Middle School. The meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m. School board community meetings are held nearly monthly and are open to the public. The sessions provide an opportunity for the public to have direct contact with school leaders and give board members a chance to listen to local issues and concerns. Also often in attendance are area principals and Fulton County Schools representatives to share important news and updates.
