YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that Tuesday, November 5, 2019, an election will be held in all voting precincts of City of South Fulton Districts 1, 3, 5 and 7. At which time all qualified voters will elect councilmembers for the referenced Districts.
Each individual seeking to serve as councilmember for City of South Fulton Districts 1, 3, 5 or 7 beginning January 1, 2020 shall file a notice of candidacy with the Election Superintendent, S. Diane White at City of South Fulton City Hall, located 5440 Fulton Industrial Boulevard, Atlanta, Georgia 30336, during qualifying week. Said notices of candidacy shall be submitted from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. beginning Monday, August 19, 2019 through Friday, August 23, 2019. The qualifying fee is $390.00.
City of South Fulton residents should register and/or update their voter registration information by the close of business Monday, October 7, 2019, online at www.mvp.sos.ga.gov or at any of the designated places for registering Fulton County residents. The polls will open at 7:00 AM and close at 7:00 PM. Those residents qualified to vote shall be determined in accordance with the election laws of the State of Georgia. The hours and locations for Early Voting will be available at http://www.fultoncountyga.gov/registration-elections-cd/7448-early-voting. Voters who wish to vote by mail should contact Fulton County Registration & Elections, 130 Peachtree Street, S.W., Suite 2186, Atlanta, Georgia 30303.
