South Fulton to Hold Spring Cleanup Day on Saturday, May 21

South Fulton will hold its annual Spring Cleanup Day this year on Saturday, May 21. The city will accept bulky items for free disposal at Merk Miles Transfer Station, 3070 Merk Road, and Creel Park, 2775 Creel Road. Paper shredding will be available at Merk Road only.

The event will take place from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Gates will close at 1:30 p.m. Free disposal is available only to South Fulton residents.

The city will accept cardboard, furniture, garbage, paint and a maximum of four tires.

Items that will not be accepted include: commercial vehicles; rented trucks; yard waste; ammunition; biohazard or biomedical waste; batteries; construction demolition debris; and hazardous chemicals.
