Captain D’s First-Ever ‘Express’ Restaurant Opens in South Fulton

South Fulton is now home to Captain D's first-ever "Express" restaurant. Anil Dossani, the restaurant's operator, celebrated the grand opening today along with the South Fulton Chamber, Old National Merchants Association and members of the community. During the pandemic, Captain D's was among many fast-casual chains forced to close their dining rooms in an effort to adapt to CDC-recommended protocols. Due to the successful pivot in operations, the new restaurant prototype was born. Old National Merchants Association to Hold 5K on Sept. 14

The Old National Merchants Association (ONMA) will hold its annual 5K run/walk on Saturday, September 14. Check-in begins at 7:00 a.m. at 5495 Old National Highway. The race, which begins at 8:30 a.m., is an official Peachtree Road Race qualifying event. Early registration is open until September 2. The entry fee is $25 for adult runners or walkers and $10 for participants 17 and under. Proceeds will benefit the ONMA scholarship fund and other initiatives. Founded in 1989, ONMA was launched to create a healthy economic environment for merchants and the community. Now in its 30th year, the organization continues to embrace new challenges and opportunities along the Old National corridor.
