Captain D’s First-Ever ‘Express’ Restaurant Opens in South Fulton

South Fulton is now home to Captain D's first-ever "Express" restaurant. Anil Dossani, the restaurant's operator, celebrated the grand opening today along with the South Fulton Chamber, Old National Merchants Association and members of the community. During the pandemic, Captain D's was among many fast-casual chains forced to close their dining rooms in an effort to adapt to CDC-recommended protocols. Due to the successful pivot in operations, the new restaurant prototype was born. Captain D's Express has a limited menu, significantly smaller footprint than other locations, and features only a drive-thru and walk-up windows for ordering and picking up. Greater South Fulton Chamber Annual Golf Tournament

Greystone Power will sponsor the South Fulton Chamber's annual golf tournament. The circus-themed tournament will take place at Wolf Creek Golf Club on September 16. Registration and breakfast starts at 7:30 a.m. and Tee Off at 9 a.m. Lunch will be provided on the course and awards passed out during the 19th hole reception. Individual registration is $185. Women's golf classes are available for $35. In the event of rain, the event will be moved to September 23.

The Big Top Ed South Fulton Annual Golf Tournament will be held on September 16 at Wolf Creek Golf Club. Support South Fulton Chamber of Commerce, while building relationships that benefit the eight cities of South Fulton County. The event is sponsored by Your CBD Store. The mission of the South Fulton Chamber of Commerce is to create synergy for business development and expansion by attracting, retaining and advancing the business interests of South Fulton. Registration and Lite breakfast starts at 7:30am and Tee Off at 9am. Lunch will be provided on the course and awards passed out during the 19th hole reception. Have your team all wear the same color golf shirts as we head to the circus! The rain date for the golf tournament is Sept. 23.

Chamber Helps Local Leaders Sharpen Skills with New Programming

The South Fulton Chamber is on the move. The organization unveiled new offices in December and has been working on the relaunch of Leadership South Fulton. The relaunch kicks off with Leadercast this Saturday, June 7. It’s one of the largest one-day leadership events in the world. The event brings a host of renowned speakers to South Fulton via a broadcast, including Gayle King, and Andy Stanley. The event will take place from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Renaissance Gateway Hotel (2081 Convention Center Concourse). The programming distinguishes the South Fulton Chamber from most chambers in the country.
