Another Bad Creation to Reunite at Funk Fest at Wolf Creek Amphitheater

Funk Fest marks the close of the summer outdoor concert season at Wolf Creek Amphitheater. The two-day music event kicking off tonight brings out a number of old school hip hop and R&B favorites. The Friday night lineup will include YoungBloodz, 112, Field Mob, Ghetto Mafia, Raheem the Dream, Crime Mob, Young Dro, Lil Scrappy, Dem Franchize Boyz and more. Fans will also get to witness the reunion of Another Bad Creation (ABC). The group rose to fame in the 1990s with his like “Iesha” and “Playground.” The Saturday lineup will include Guy featuring Teddy Riley, Blackstreet featuring Dave Hollister, Mystikal, Scarface, SWV and more. County Responds to City’s to Lawsuit: We’ve Exhausted All Practical Solutions

South Fulton’s transition from Fulton County has been anything but smooth. Over the two-year process, residents have watched city and county leadership haggle over assets and their costs. In May, Mayor William “Bill” Edwards announced the city’s intention to acquire the Wolf Creek Amphitheater in a formal “State of the City” address. But now, just three months later, negotiations with the county have turned sour and the city is taking legal action. Today, just outside of the amphitheater, Mayor Edwards and six members of the city council announced that the city has filed a lawsuit in Fulton Superior Court against the county to acquire the venue along with the Tom Lowe Shooting Range and the Southwest Arts Center. Lalah Hathaway, Avery Sunshine Headed to Wolf Creek Amphitheater

Lalah Hathaway, Avery Sunshine and Rahsaan Patterson are headed to Wolf Creek Amphitheater on October 5. They'll appear as part of the For the Culture Musicfest presented by Atlanta-based Next Level Events. The goal of the music festival is to connect attendees with music, art, fashion, community and health and wellness resources. The event has partnered with the American Cancer Society to offer health screenings onsite on the day of the performances. Tickets are on sale at www.fortheculturemusicfest.com. Lawn seats start at $39, reserved fixed seats are $59 and table seats start at $89. Wolf Creek Amphitheater is located at 3025 Merk Road in South Fulton. Tom Joyner 25th Anniversary Celebration Tour to Stop at Wolf Creek Amphitheater

Wolf Creek Amphitheater has begun announcing shows on the 2019 calendar. Among the lineup is Tom Joyner’s “One More Time Experience Tour,” a celebration of his 25 years in radio syndication. The longtime radio personality is set to retire from broadcasting in December.
