Tom Joyner 25th Anniversary Celebration Tour to Stop at Wolf Creek Amphitheater

Wolf Creek Amphitheater has begun announcing shows on the 2019 calendar. Among the lineup is Tom Joyner’s “One More Time Experience Tour,” a celebration of his 25 years in radio syndication. The longtime radio personality is set to retire from broadcasting in December.

“What better way to say thank you to the people I owe my career to,” he said in his tour announcement. “I hope everyone will be as excited as I am to celebrate with good music, good fun and good hugs. We have 25 years worth of partying to achieve, so let’s do it together, with the ultimate One More Time Experience.”

Joyner first gained popularity after earning his nickname “The Fly Jock” while flying roundtrip between Dallas and Chicago for seven years and eight million miles. He helped to revolutionize radio, becoming the first morning show with music in syndication launching in January 1994.

The “One More Time Experience Tour” at Wolf Creek Amphitheater is set for August 3. Tom Joyner will host. Musical guests include Keith Sweat and Joe.

Other shows planned for Wolf Creek Amphitheater in 2019 include:

  • An Evening Under the Stars: 13th Annual Mother’s Day Weekend Celebration on Saturday, May 11 featuring Anthony Hamilton and Marsha Ambrosius

  • An Evening Under the Stars Father’s Day Weekend Blues Festival on Saturday, June 15 featuring Tucka, T.K. Soul, Willie Clayton, Lenny Williams, JWONN and more

  • The Jacksons (yes, those Jacksons) on Saturday, September 7

Additional shows are expected to be announced. For more information and tickets, visit www.wolfcreekamphitheater.com.
