Missing Person: Police Seek Help Locating Veteran

The City of South Fulton Police Department is seeking the public's help in locating a missing person. Roland Hodges, age 59, was last seen on December 9 at his apartment in the Old National Highway area. He is a United States Armed Services Veteran and may require immediate medical assistance. Hodges was last seen wearing a blue hat, dark blue jacket, blue pants and black shoes. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact 911.

South Fulton Police Seek Help Locating Missing Man

Police are asking for the community's help in locating Demetrice Allen. He was last seen in Atlanta five days ago. On Dec. 8, at approximately 8:15 a.m., the South Fulton Police Department responded to a call in reference to a missing person from a residence located on Bluestone Dr. The reporting party advised that Allen, age 30, had not been seen since Dec. 6 around 9:00 p.m. Allen's last known whereabouts on Dec. 6 were at TEN ATL Bar & Lounge located at 495 Flat Shoals Ave. in Dekalb County. Allen was last seen wearing a black jacket, tan shirt, black jeans and black Air Jordan sneakers. He drives a grey BMW 328i with Ohio tag HMT1084. For those doing a significant amount of shopping online or expecting gifts from family and friends by mail, the police department urges residents to break down boxes and discard them in trash bins rather than leaving them on the curb. Additionally, those planning to travel over the holidays are asked to make arrangements to have someone accept their packages while they are away. The station was closed in October 2018 for renovations and much-needed improvements. Just a month before its closing, City Manager Odie Donald II reported that an assessment was underway of facilities transitioned over from Fulton County. An initial review uncovered that Fire Stations 1, 3 and 7 were in dire need of major repairs and capital improvement. Police Mini-Precinct Opens on Butner Road

Earlier today, officials celebrated the opening of a new police mini-precinct on Butner Road in South Fulton. This marks the third precinct opening since the city's incorporation in 2017. Earlier today, the City of South Fulton Police Department held a K-9 swearing-in ceremony at City Hall for two new recruits, Sergeant Rolo and Corporal Franky. Police Chief Keith Meadows oversaw the proceedings as Mayor William "Bill" Edwards administered the oath to the furry crime fighters and their handlers, Sgt. D. Healey and Cpl. G.
