The Fulton County Board of Education will meet Tuesday, July 16 at the school system’s North Learning Center, located at 450 Northridge Parkwayin Sandy Springs.
The board will convene for executive session at 9:30 a.m. with a pre-work session immediately following. The business meeting will begin at 1 pm.
The millage rate will be on the agenda. The tentative 2019 millage rate is 17.796. The rate will result in a decrease in property tax revenue from reassessed property by 4.16% based on the calculated 2019 tax digest.
School board meetings can be watched live on FCSTV Comcast Channel 24 or from a computer through the videostreaming website. Recordings of the meeting also are archived to that site within 48 hours of the meeting.
All meetings of the school board are open to the public unless designated as executive session, where the board must convene in private to discuss land, legal or personnel items.
