Free Food Distribution and COVID-19 Testing Continues in South Fulton

City and county officials, churches and other entities are continuing efforts to provide free meals and additional COVID-19 testing sites in the South Fulton area. Food Distribution The City of South Fulton is continuing its free weekly food giveaway at Welcome All Park, 4255 Will Lee Road. This week, the event will shift rom Thursday to Friday, June 5. Food from the Atlanta Community Food Bank and hand sanitizer from Purest Hygiene will be distributed starting at 11 a.m. until supplies are gone. Residents will be able to drive through the location to safely pick up their items. Mayor William "Bill" Edwards and Councilwoman Helen Z. Star-Studded Event Marks Official Opening of Gocha’s Breakfast Bar

Last Thursday, the stars shined a little brighter as South Fulton resident Gocha Hawkins celebrated the official grand opening of her upscale breakfast cafe, Gocha's Breakfast Bar. The star-studded event was co-hosted by Hennessy VSOP Privilege and featured some of the cafe's signature dishes, including shrimp and grits, "Krunch-Tastic" french toast, "Better Than Yo Momma" biscuits and candied maple bacon.
