Annual Polo Classic to Benefit Ride to the Olympics Foundation

This October, the 5th Annual Atlanta Fashion & Polo Classic Weekend returns to Bouckaert Farm, 10045 Cedar Grove Rd. The event is the brainchild of Miguel Wilson, an award-winning menswear designer. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Ride to the Olympics Foundation. The nonprofit provides support to kids who desire to pursue equestrian activities, especially those who normally wouldn’t have the opportunity due to socio-economic obstacles. Children’s Book Festival Set for May 14

A new Children's Book Festival is coming to the metro area thanks to the Fulton County Library System, Atlanta-Fulton Public Library Foundation and presenting sponsor PNC Bank. Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) contractors will install overnight lane closures and pace traffic on I-285 this weekend in conjunction with ongoing construction of the Diverging Diamond Interchange (DDI) project at I-285 and State Route 6/Camp Creek Pkwy.Weather permitting, traffic will be paced and two right lanes will be closed on I-285 southbound and northbound at Camp Creek Pkwy from 9:00 pm on Friday, February 7 until 5:00 am on Saturday, and again from  9:00 pm on Saturday, February 8 until 5:00 am on Sunday.  Police officers will assist with traffic pacing through the area. Camp Creek Pkwy DDI Bridge ‘Crossover Weekend’ Rescheduled for Feb. 7-10

Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) contractors will close the Camp Creek Pkwy. Bridge in Fulton County for two weekend days starting Friday night.  Following postponements in November 2019 and January due to weather conditions, the contractors have scheduled the crossover weekend for Feb. 7-10.
